fishtail-old-finalThe legend says that the Kathmandu Valley was,in the past,an immense lake and the lamas considered that Manjushisi (The meditation goddess) wide the valley with a magic sword and drained the water.

3 towns are famous in this valley: Katmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. Katmandu is the place for pilgrimage, the place with numerous relics,temples,monasteries on which the architecture had put the mark.

Katmandu Durbar square get under the UNESCO patrimony and is the place with the muchest temples on square meter: Kumari Bahal, Kastgamandap and the old museum.

The people from here are friendly and hospitable,even if you don't wand to buy something and you want to look ,to taste or to make photos.
